Fire, September 14, 2018
On the morning of September 14, 2018, a fire broke out in the office of Highlands United Church, believed to be caused by arson. The quick response by the fire department contained the fire to just the office, and the board room above it. However, extensive smoke and water damage throughout the church resulted in a year-long restoration of the entire building.
