MOFFAT, Rhonda Lea
Rhonda Lea Moffat (nee Dempster) passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 68 years.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wastle, her children, Jody (Grainne) Dempster and Shannon Cavener (TK Sprowl), her step-children Spencer Wastle (Samantha van Hooydonk), and Anna Wastle; and her brother, Jack Dempster.
She is predeceased by her parents, Edmond Thomas Dempster and Dorothy Patricia Dempster; and her sister-in-law, Dorothy Dempster.

Louise Miller Griffith (nee Lane) passed away January 2, 2021 just 6 weeks shy of her 101st birthday.
She leaves to mourn 4 children: Gloria Strachan, Karen McKinnon (Bruce) Lois Harpold (Doug) and Robert Griffith (Mirka)
8 grandchildren: David, Duncan, Robbie, Jennifer, Kelly, Stacy (Curtis), Lane (Stephanie) and Lisa (Tim)
6 great grandchildren: Autumn, Evan, Joshua, Rowan, Aimee and Brody.
Louise was born February 12, 1920 in Elderbank, Nova Scotia to Otto Miller Lane and Susan Mersen Lane, and moved when she was four to Armstrong, BC where she grew up on the family farm. She moved to Edmonton to find work during WWII and also found a young man in a navy uniform, Clayton Allaton Griffith (June 19, 2004) and the rest is history.
We would like to thank Eaux Claire for the kind and loving care she received the passed few months. The family hopes that by summer we will be able to safely gather and lay Mom’s ashes next to Dad. Donations may be made in her memory to The Bissell Centre, 10527 – 96 street, Edmonton, AB, T5H 2H6

DEMCHUK, Helen Anne
On Friday, January 1, 2021, Helen Demchuk of Edmonton, AB passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years.
Helen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children; Brian, Dave, Christine (David), Darren (Sonia) and their families 8 grandchildren; Jason, Sunnilee, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Jaclyn, Kelsey, Austin, and Dallas; 5 great-grandchildren, Leia, Rayden, Ronin, Weston, and Myles; numerous other relatives, friends and her fluffy four-legged buddy, Nicky. As well, her special friend of many years, Richard Pubantz.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Harry; and her only sibling, sister Irene.
A celebration of life will be planned for a future date when all the family can be together. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be kindly appreciated to the Diabetes or Breast Cancer Foundations.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank the nurses and administration of Chartwell Griesbach for their outstanding care and support.

On December 19, 2020 our Mom, Gramma and Great-Gramma, June Jacobs, passed away at the age of 99 years.
Mourning her loss with heavy hearts are her daughter Elaine (Jerry) Murray, grandchildren Erin (Derek) Sobon, Sydney Rattray (Mark), Brandon (Heather) Jacobs and Taylor (Ali) Jacobs. She also leaves five great-grandchildren Jack, Henry, Lily, Poppy and Madelyn and daughter-in-law Rita.
June was predeceased by her husband Maury and son Dick.
The family would like to thank the staff at Capital Care Strathcona, Heritage House, for their care and compassion during Mom’s time there.
